Death Watch International is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to help promote the campaign against the death penalty and other groups around the world working towards the same goal.

Our founder and director Simon Shepherd is a criminal psychologist by training who spent ten years working in the UK prison service, including with people convicted of murder and other serious offences.

Our Honorary President William Neal (Billy) Moore spent 17 years on death row in the US. He was spared from death row through the efforts of his victim’s family and now campaigns against the death penalty around the world.

M. Ravi is one of the leading human rights lawyers in Singapore. He has defended a number of people on death row and campaigns for an end to executions in Singapore and beyond. Ravi is one of our international patrons.
